It can be said that in a sense Francis Bacon killed many of his paintings especially towards the end of his artistic career, I take this and work backwards, I try my very hardest to put a soul into my paintings. To capture not only a moment but an experience through the form of a visual medium. I do not yet believe I am able to do this, but it is what I work towards in every one of my works.
